ABSTRACT
The article is a synthesis of exegetical praxis within the Panafrican Association of Catholic Exegetes (PACE) from its foundation in 1987 until the 16th Congress in 2015. It undertakes an evaluation of collectiv and individual productions of its members by refering to the opened path of the 1972 Congress of Jerusalem. Two criteria taken from the principal objectiv of the Association help thereby : «Exegesis of high level» and «african perspective». The author shows ways to consolidate achievements and to go on facing challenges, above all those related to the quality of productions and methodological creativity.
