JOURNAL PRESENTATION
Kanien is a journal edited by the professors of the Jesuit Institute of Theology of Abidjan. Kanien is a biannual scholarly interdisciplinary journal open to theologians, scholars in religious studies as well as human and social sciences (philosophy, sociology, history, economics, political science, psychology, etc) open to religious issues.
Kanien favors intercultural and interdisciplinary approaches that put in dialogue various aspects of religious experience in Africa and in the rest of the world. Kanien is a scholarly forum located within the changing and dynamic context in Africa characterized by challenges at the political, economic, cultural and religious levels.

ARTICLE SUBMISSION
It is a journal that presents essays, studies, interviews and testimonies on topics related to the aforementioned subjects. Its articles are available on Atla Serials Plus database.
We appeal to interested individuals and academics to kindly send us your thoughts (4,000-5,000 words not including footnotes) by June 15, 2024 for the issue of the second half of 2024 by clicking on the Make a Submission button just below.
The author must include a 150-200 word abstract, a summary of his/her CV of 100-150 words, and indicates between 5 and 7 key words.
