3250 FCFA

AUTEUR : JOSEPH LOÏC MBEN SJ

ABSTRACT

The author of this essay explores the faces of the feminine in the writings of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, especially in the Spiritual Exercises and the Autobiography in dialogue with his Letters. Through a synchronic and intertextual analysis of the various works, the goal is to discern the various characteristics of the feminine and women in Ignatius’ thought. What emerges are very rich and varied faces of women and the feminine far from stereotypes and rushed and hasty generalizations which sometimes stick to Saint Ignatius of Loyola.
